Position Summary: Provide leadership and direction to employees to attain short- and long-term goals, optimize team effectiveness, and meet daily work schedules in ODP and Co-Pack . Achieve departmental goals and metrics by managing crew, productivity, material usage, product quality (yield), and equipment utilization. Ensures safety, regulatory compliance, morale, and cost control. Develop a team relationship with all other superintendents and share all assets and people. Representative Duties: Supervise, train, schedule and review packaging staff Develop general staffing, operational, and capital plans for the plant Communicate key metrics to the North Plant Operations Manager and production teams in order to stimulate process improvement and cost reduction Arrange for equipment inspections as necessary; coordinate maintenance activities to meet established preventative maintenance goals Coordinate purchase of supplies necessary to insure functioning of the packaging department Develop and maintain
